Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 8 update, based on Android 16, for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6. The new release follows last week’s One UI 8 stable rollout for the Galaxy S25 series and is initially available to users in South Korea who participated in the beta program. A wider rollout to non-beta users and additional regions is expected in the coming days.
The firmware arriving on the devices is version F956NKSU2CYI7 for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and F741NKSU2CYI6 for the Galaxy Z Flip6. Alongside the One UI 8 feature set, both builds include the September 2025 Android security patch. While Samsung has not listed every regional timing, the update package brings the Android 16-based improvements and the usual One UI refinements.
If you’re in South Korea and enrolled in the beta, your Fold6 or Flip6 should already be eligible for the stable update. To check manually, open Settings > Software update on your phone and tap Check for updates. If you’re not seeing the update yet, Samsung’s official One UI 8 rollout schedule offers region-by-region details and will indicate when non-beta users in other countries should expect the stable release.
