A new image that surfaced from well-known leaker Evan Blass appears to show an official render of the Motorola Edge 70 — and it departs from earlier mockups in a few notable ways. The phone’s look still follows the Edge family’s design language, but small styling choices give it a fresh twist.
One of the most eye-catching details is the lime-green trim accenting the four raised circles on the camera island — three lenses plus a circular LED flash — and the matching colored power button on the frame. Those accents weren’t visible in the leaked render we saw months ago and suggest Motorola is experimenting with bolder color accents this generation.

It also appears this model uses a flatter screen profile than the Edge 60, which featured more pronounced curvature. While the display won’t necessarily be entirely flat, the bezels and edges look noticeably less curved than the previous generation.
A small square on the back signals another Pantone collaboration, indicating Motorola is continuing to lean on color partnerships to differentiate its phones. That square — and the lime-green shade shown — imply the Edge 70 will launch in multiple curated hues rather than a single finish.
The tagline accompanying the leak is particularly bold: "Impossibly thin and incredibly tough." Thinness has become a selling point again as manufacturers push to trade bulk for sleekness. For context, the Edge 60 measured roughly 7.9mm (or 8.2mm depending on the color variant), so it wasn’t in the ultra-thin category.
Outside of its Razr foldables, Motorola hasn’t historically produced many phones below the 7mm mark. That makes the tagline intriguing — it raises the question of how aggressively Motorola will chase thinner profiles while retaining durability and battery life. Expect more leaks and spec rumors to clarify whether the Edge 70 is a genuine step toward a significantly slimmer midrange model or simply marketing shorthand.
