OnePlus has officially unveiled images of the OnePlus 15 in its new Dune finish, confirming several design details that have surfaced in recent leaks. The reveal highlights a fresh material treatment, a flat front display with narrow bezels, and the expected flagship hardware under the hood.
Design, materials and the new Dune finish
OnePlus says the Dune color is inspired by natural sand dunes and delivers an "ice skin" feel when you hold it. The chassis uses an aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal frame with rounded edges for a premium hand-feel. According to the company, the frame is lighter than traditional titanium and improves heat dissipation thanks to a proprietary three-step manufacturing process.
The process reportedly starts with military-grade micro-arc oxidation, followed by OnePlus's own ion-coloring technique, and finishes with a nano-scale pore sealing treatment. Together, these steps aim to boost durability, color stability, and thermal performance while keeping weight down.
Front design and display expectations
OnePlus also published images of the phone's front: a flat panel surrounded by uniformly slim 1.15mm bezels. Rumors point to a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate, which would position the OnePlus 15 among the top-tier screens for smooth scrolling and gaming.

Colorways leaked and confirmed include Absolute Black, Dune, and Mist Purple, giving buyers a mix of classic and more distinctive finishes.
Cameras, chipset and software
The back of the phone shows a redesigned square camera module reminiscent of the OnePlus 13s, housing a triple rear camera array. OnePlus has confirmed the OnePlus 15 will ship with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with a new in-house image engine to improve processing and photography workflows.
Software-wise, the handset will run ColorOS 16, bringing OnePlus-specific optimizations and UI changes on top of the Android base.

Conclusion
With its aerospace-grade nano-ceramic frame, refined Dune finish, flat high-refresh display and flagship Snapdragon chipset, the OnePlus 15 looks set to be a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment. OnePlus is expected to unveil the device in October, though an exact launch date has not yet been announced.
