OnePlus has introduced two new handsets— the OnePlus 15 and the Ace 6—bringing massive battery packs, ultra-smooth 165Hz screens and the latest Snapdragon silicon. The duo launch in China first, with a wider release expected later.
Smaller flagship, far bigger endurance
The OnePlus 15 takes a surprising design turn: gone is the quad-curved display, replaced by a fully flat 6.78-inch FHD+ panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. That BOE X3 screen pairs with impressively slim 1.15mm bezels all around, making the phone physically smaller than its predecessor while keeping visuals buttery smooth.
Under the hood is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and OnePlus has bumped battery capacity dramatically to a 7,300mAh cell. Charging speeds are competitive too — 120W wired and 50W wireless — so long life doesn't mean long waits to top up.

Camera changes: new imaging strategy
OnePlus moves away from its Hasselblad partnership and adopts Oppo's Lumo Imaging System for the OnePlus 15. The triple-camera array still centers on a 50MP main shooter, but with a slightly smaller 1/1.56" sensor. Optical telephoto also sits at 50MP now with a 3.5x (85mm) focal reach, while the ultrawide is a 50MP 16mm f/2.0. Selfies are handled by a 32MP front camera.
Ace 6: endurance-focused performance with a big screen
The OnePlus Ace 6, likely to arrive internationally as the OnePlus 15R, leans into battery life even harder. It features a larger 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, also running at 165Hz, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition. The design keeps the focus practical: a two-camera rear setup (50MP main + 8MP ultrawide) and a 16MP selfie camera.

Where the Ace 6 really stands out is battery: a mammoth 7,800mAh cell paired with 120W wired charging — though wireless charging is not supported here. If multi-day use without a charger matters to you, this model crops up as a clear contender.

When and where you can buy one
OnePlus confirmed the OnePlus 15 will go on sale in China on October 28 through its official store, offered in Absolute Black, Misty Purple and Sand Dune. Pricing starts at CNY 3,999 (~€482) for the 12GB/256GB version and climbs to CNY 5,399 (~€650) for the 16GB/1TB model. There's no firm launch date yet for the Ace 6, nor a global release timeline beyond expectations of an international unveiling in November.
Is one clearly better?
It depends on priorities. The OnePlus 15 pares down bezels, refines the camera approach, and adds wireless charging. The Ace 6 prioritizes battery life above all, trading a few camera and charging conveniences for sheer endurance. Both deliver high-refresh displays and flagship Snapdragon power, so the choice comes down to camera needs, size preference and whether wireless charging matters to you.
