The Honor 500 series has officially launched in China, bringing a fresh design, flagship Snapdragon chips, and gigantic batteries. Honor made bold moves with a camera plateau reminiscent of recent Apple designs, while packing serious specs that push past the Honor 400 lineup.
Design and display that flirt with familiarity
Both the Honor 500 and 500 Pro adopt an aluminum frame and glass back, trading extreme thinness for substance. The Honor 500 Pro ships with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, delivering flagship-level performance for gaming and multitasking. The regular Honor 500 runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, which still offers strong performance but sits a step below the Pro.

Both models feature a 200MP main sensor using a 1/1.4 inch package and a 12MP ultrawide. The 500 Pro adds a 50MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom, giving it a clear advantage for portrait and distant shots. Battery is where Honor doubled down. Both models carry an 8,000mAh Si-C (silicon-carbon) battery and support 80W wired charging. The Honor 500 series runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 out of the box. Color options include Aquamarine, Starlight Powder, Moonlight Silver, and Obsidian Black. Units are available for pre-order now, with first shipments scheduled to begin on November 27.
