Updated Lynk & Co 02 arrives with high-voltage architecture

Lynk & Co has confirmed a refreshed version of its 02 crossover for 2026, upgrading the model with an 800-volt silicon carbide (SiC) platform and support for 6C fast-charging technology. The move positions the 02 among a growing group of electric vehicles that prioritize ultra-fast charging and improved electrical efficiency.

Key specifications and dimensions

The revised 02 keeps a compact-crossover footprint with a length of 4,495 mm, width of 1,845 mm, height of 1,573 mm, and a 2,755 mm wheelbase. Power comes from a single rear-mounted electric motor rated at 245 kW (about 329 hp), and the car uses LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery chemistry.

Design and technology upgrades

Externally the 02 receives sportier touches — reworked bumpers and a new roof spoiler — while the tech stack gains a rooftop LiDAR sensor. That hardware enables Lynk & Co's G-Pilot advanced driver-assistance systems, offered in H5 or H7 configurations. The H7 package, paired with an Nvidia Thor AGX processor, claims up to 700 TOPS of compute for features like D2D autonomous parking and enhanced highway driving assistance.

These additions make the 02 more competitive against other modern EVs that use high-voltage platforms, such as certain offerings from Hyundai and Porsche, by reducing charge times and improving powertrain efficiency.

'Fast charging and smarter ADAS are the main story here,' says an industry analyst. 'Lynk & Co is clearly aiming to close the gap with premium EV rivals.'

Current Lynk & Co 02 prices range from 109,900 to 150,900 CNY (roughly $16,190–$22,230). With the new hardware and software, final pricing for the 2026 update may shift — details will be announced closer to launch.
