2028 Toyota iQ CGI Revival Imagines Three-Door Return

Designer Giorgi Tedoradze posted an unofficial CGI imagining a 2028 Toyota iQ three-door city car with Aygo-inspired styling, wider track and larger wheels. The images suggest an electric option but Toyota has made no such announcement.

Georgia-based industrial designer Giorgi Tedoradze published an unofficial CGI concept that reimagines the Toyota iQ as a 2028 three-door city car.

The design is a personal, hypothetical project and not an announcement from Toyota.

Tedoradze, who posts as "tedoradze.giorgi" on Instagram, styled the iQ revival with contemporary cues drawn from the larger Toyota Aygo while retaining the original model's three-door layout.

The concept is neither a crossover like the Aygo X nor a five-door hatch like the Yaris; it keeps compact proportions but shows larger wheels, wider rear track and pronounced fender flares intended to free up interior space.

The images place the concept alongside a three-door Fiat 500e and hint at an all-electric direction, but the designer makes no claim that the car reflects Toyota production plans.

Toyota produced the iQ from 2008 to 2015; the model was sold in Europe as the Aston Martin Cygnet and in North America as the Scion iQ.

Toyota has since discontinued the regular Aygo and retained only the Aygo X as city-car demand contracts, and the company has not announced any iQ revival.
