Spy Photos Suggest Lamborghini Revuelto Facelift Coming

Spy photographer partners have caught a heavily disguised Lamborghini Revuelto prototype that appears to be wearing substantial revisions to its front and rear. The images point to a mid-cycle refresh or a new, hotter derivative rather than a complete replacement of the V12 plug-in hybrid flagship.

The Revuelto first reached production in July 2023 after its spring 2023 debut, and the prototype’s side profile looks largely unchanged. That continuity suggests Lamborghini is refining the existing package, not launching a new generation, with changes that could align with a Performante or EVO level of upgrades rather than an extreme SV-style variant.

What the photos reveal

Under white-and-black camouflage, the prototype shows a noticeably wider central air intake and reworked side intakes that echo styling cues from Lamborghini’s limited-production Fenomeno. The front lighting appears revised too, with slimmer LED headlamps and reduced Y-graphic daytime running light elements. Our spy photographers note those familiar Y-shaped elements are reportedly stickers hiding a reworked lighting signature.

At the rear, engineers seem to have reshaped the diffuser, removing several vertical elements and relocating them to the bumper, and the active rear spoiler shows a new contour. Those changes look as much aerodynamic as aesthetic, which would be consistent with a development aimed at sharper performance and a distinct road presence.

Lamborghini has been active with the Revuelto family, exploring variants such as a Revuelto SV with higher output from its naturally aspirated V12 paired with a triple electric motor arrangement, and the company has hinted at other projects like a rugged Temerario Sterrato. Separate reports note a regular Temerario with 907 hp was recently assigned to Italian police for high-value public service roles such as urgent medical transport.

According to reports, the updated Revuelto is expected to surface officially around mid-2027, and Lamborghini may draw styling and aerodynamic elements from its limited-production models when finalizing the regular Revuelto’s facelift or performance derivative.
