LG's recent regulatory filings list a smart doorbell among several devices the company says it co-developed with Apple, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports. The filings identify a smart thermostat, a smart deadbolt lock, indoor and outdoor security cameras, and a floodlight camera as part of the same slate.
Bloomberg says the accessories are tied to Apple's renewed smart home push and are expected to be unveiled next week. Rather than carrying Apple's logo, the hardware is reportedly destined to be sold under LG's banner, with the South Korean firm responsible for manufacturing and product support.

Products and timing
Bloomberg frames the LG accessories as complementary to a new Apple hub device that has been in development for several years. The report also says a revamped HomePod Mini and a TV set-top box may be part of Apple's broader move to offer a larger connected-home system. Apple-branded devices are expected to appear soon; Bloomberg adds that LG's accessories will not reach the market for "at least a few more months."
LG's role and background
The collaboration marks a shift for LG, historically known for appliances and large consumer electronics rather than stand-alone smart-home product lines. LG has previously worked with Apple in other areas, including offering Apple software on its smart TVs, serving as a third-party monitor option for the MacBook ecosystem, and supplying the panels used in Apple's Studio Display and Studio Display XDR.
According to Bloomberg, LG will sell the co-developed devices under its own brand and handle manufacturing and product support.
Mark Gurman's reporting on Apple's smart-home plans has appeared across several reports in recent months, and Bloomberg cites LG's regulatory filings as the basis for these specific device identifications.
