Dubai Police has expanded its luxury patrol fleet with the Lamborghini Temerario plug-in hybrid supercar, the force announced in a release that credited a partnership with Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Lamborghini Dubai. The Temerario will join other high-end models already used by the force and is expected to perform tourist policing duties as well as public engagement with residents and visitors.

“Our luxury patrol fleet represents an innovative approach to policing, combining an effective security presence with community and tourist engagement,” said the Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation at Dubai Police, Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri. “These vehicles help people feel safe, showcase Dubai’s positive image to visitors from around the world, and raise awareness of police services and public safety. Above all, they reinforce our commitment to being a police force that is close to the community.”

Dubai Police released imagery showing the Temerario in the service livery: a white and green pattern with a pair of emergency lights positioned at the top of the front windscreen. The announcement did not list mechanical changes; official information indicates the Temerario in both Dubai and Italy retains its stock powertrain.
The addition continues a long pattern of exotic vehicles in Dubai’s fleet. Past entries include the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Aventador, Porsche 918 Spyder, Brabus Mercedes G 63, Lotus Eletre, Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, a number of Mansory-tuned cars including a Ferrari Purosangue and Lamborghini Revuelto, and a Tesla Cybertruck carrying the same livery.
Italy’s state police added a Temerario a little over a month earlier, at the beginning of September, 2026. That vehicle carries a white and blue livery with Italian flag elements and an emergency light bar on the roof; local authorities said it will be used for “the most important services,” including the emergency transport of organs and medical supplies.

Temerario: powertrain and production details
The Temerario pairs a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 ICE with three electric motors. The internal-combustion engine alone produces 789 hp (800 ps/588 kW) between 9,000 and 9,750 rpm. Combined output is quoted at 907 bhp (920 ps/677 kW) and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque. The car uses an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and a lithium-ion battery pack that yields a short electric range of a few miles for zero-emission driving.

Lamborghini’s specification sheet lists a 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 213 mph (343 kph). For the 2027 model year in the United States, the Temerario is priced at just under $400,000, making it roughly $200,000 more affordable than the brand’s larger Revuelto.
The Temerario was unveiled at Monterey Car Week in 2024 and entered series production the following year at Lamborghini’s Sant Agata Bolognese factory, replacing the Huracan in the company lineup. A convertible Spyder variant is in development and is expected to debut in late 2026 or early 2027. The same basic architecture will underpin the Audi Nuvolari, a limited run of 499 units that is scheduled to enter production toward the end of this year.
