Digital artist Andrei Avarvarii published CGI images for Auto Express that reimagine Peugeot's fourth-generation 308 as a sleek, aerodynamic fastback inspired by the 2026 Paris Motor Show concepts.

The renders are unofficial and hypothetical; Avarvarii publishes as avarvarii on social media and produced the images for Auto Express.

At the 2026 Mondial de l'Auto, Stellantis showed more than 60 new vehicles and nine concepts. Peugeot presented the RCZ Vision and the E-T16, two concept cars that the artist and Auto Express cite as direct influences for the 308 proposal.

Design cues drawn from the Inception concept and the larger 408 appear in the renders. The front fascia in the images shows a sharp, angular profile, a seamless body-coloured grille and a razor-thin evolution of Peugeot's three-claw LED signature.

The sides show sculpted geometric surfaces, aero-optimised wheels and a strongly raked roofline that produces a muscular, high-set tail. The rear features a triple-layer, full-width LED light bar placed stylistically between the E-T16 and RCZ Vision concepts, according to the artist and Auto Express.

Auto Express suggests the fourth-generation 308 could be EV-first on the STLA One platform while remaining capable of petrol and hybrid layouts. The renders and coverage reference a cell-to-body battery architecture that integrates the battery into the floor, a solution Auto Express notes is used by manufacturers such as BYD and Tesla.

The images represent one possible styling direction and are not a manufacturer release. Peugeot has not confirmed design details, powertrain choices or a production timetable for the next-generation 308.
