A speculative CGI of the fourth-generation Dacia Sandero Stepway presents the model adopting Dacia's latest design signature, with clear visual links to the Striker, Bigster and Duster. The render is the work of Andrei Avarvarii, the digital artist known as avarvarii on social media, and was produced as an unofficial preview for Auto Express.
CGI preview and the claims behind it
Avarvarii says the concept combines "official manufacturer insights, platform architecture data, and Dacia’s evolving styling cues to preview the upcoming next-generation Dacia Sandero." The artist describes a silhouette with "a sharper, more futuristic edge (...) taking direct inspiration from the Striker alongside the brand's latest Bigster and Duster models." The images are explicitly speculative and intended to illustrate one possible direction rather than to represent an approved production design.

Beyond styling, the rendermaker projects a more rugged stance in line with current trends and outlines a "multi-energy platform supporting both full-electric and hybrid-petrol powertrains (so) the design projects a planted, purposeful road presence for Dacia's next chapter." Those platform and powertrain claims are presented by the artist as extrapolations from available data rather than manufacturer announcements.

Context: where Dacia stands now
Dacia remains a volume leader in Europe, with the Sandero and Sandero Stepway series topping sales charts in 2024 and 2025. Renault acquired Automobile Dacia in late 1999, and the brand has since developed a reputation as a value-focused alternative in the European market. Recent Dacia highlights include the Logan, Sandero, Duster and the larger Bigster, plus a late-2025 mid-cycle refresh applied across the Sandero line-up.

Separately, Dacia announced that both the Sandero and Sandero Stepway will be offered as hybrids with 155 ps (153 hp) outputs. UK on-the-road prices start from £17,995 and £19,295 (OTR), and the announced 0-62 mph time for the hybrid setup is 8.3 seconds.

The Avarvarii renders offer a detailed, interpretive look at possible styling and architecture for a next-generation Sandero Stepway, but they are not official Dacia designs.
