Zeekr unveils the 2026 001 — a high-tech performance EV
Zeekr has introduced the 2026 001, a refreshed fastback electric performance car that pushes the envelope on power, range and charging speed. With bold interior upgrades, advanced driver sensors and a new 900V architecture, the latest 001 aims to compete with premium China-made EVs and performance models from established global brands.
Price and market positioning
Priced between ¥269,800 and ¥329,800 (roughly $37,900–$46,300), the 2026 Zeekr 001 is offered in four trim levels. That pricing places it squarely in China’s competitive premium EV segment, where consumers expect both luxury features and cutting-edge EV tech.
Exterior and dimensions
The facelift keeps the 001’s fastback silhouette but refines the details for a cleaner look. The front bumper now features a horizontal mesh motif and redesigned air channels, while the rear bumper sheds its triangular night accents for a simpler rear profile. Two new paint options—purple and grey—join five existing colors.
Dimensions remain unchanged: 4,977 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,545 mm tall, riding on a 3,005 mm wheelbase.

Performance, battery and charging
The new 001 rides on a 900V electrical platform (up from 800V). Dual-motor versions deliver an astonishing 911 horsepower and 925 Nm of torque. Zeekr quotes a 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) time of 2.83 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h.
Range is equally impressive: with a 103 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the WLTP-like range reaches up to 810 kilometers. Fast charging capability is a headline figure—replenishing battery state from 10% to 80% in just 7 minutes under optimal conditions—bringing convenience closer to that of refueling a combustion car.
Chassis, suspension and ADAS
All variants come with an air suspension offering up to 206 mm ride height and an 85 mm adjustment range, paired with adaptive control and Zeekr’s Smart Magic Carpet tuning for ride comfort. The 001 is equipped with sensors including lidar, and Zeekr says earlier lidar-equipped 001s can be upgraded to the company’s H7 autonomous driving system starting in November.
