Realme has expanded its C-series with two new budget-minded powerhouses: the Realme C85 Pro and the Realme C85 5G. Both phones pack huge 7,000mAh batteries, IP69K ingress protection and 50MP main cameras — but they take different approaches elsewhere, from chips to displays.
Big batteries, IP69K protection and practical tricks
What grabs attention right away is the massive 7,000mAh cell on both models. Realme supports 45W fast charging and adds OTG reverse wired charging, so you can top up accessories or even another phone in a pinch. Both phones also carry an IP69K rating, offering robust dust and high-pressure water resistance that’s rare at this price point.
Two chips, two screens — choose your trade-offs
The C85 Pro uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 (an LTE-only chip from 2023), while the C85 5G gets MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 for native 5G connectivity. That difference frames most of the decision: better battery and AMOLED perks on the Pro, versus a 5G modem and higher LCD refresh on the standard C85.

- Realme C85 Pro: AMOLED, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh.
 - Realme C85 5G: IPS LCD, HD+ resolution, unusually high 144Hz refresh.

Camera and software highlights
Both phones use a 50MP main camera built around the Sony IMX852 sensor (28mm equivalent), and an 8MP front shooter. They ship with Realme UI 6.0 on top of Android 15, bringing the latest software extras and interface tweaks to the affordable segment.

Price, colors and who they’re for
The phones come in Parrot Purple and Peacock Green. Pricing in Vietnam starts at VND 7,690,000 (about $292) for the Realme C85 Pro 8/256GB. The Realme C85 5G begins at VND 6,490,000 (around $247) for the 8/128GB model, with the 8/256GB trim at VND 7,090,000 (about $270).

If you want an AMOLED screen and FHD+ clarity with excellent battery life, the C85 Pro is the better fit. If you need 5G and a snappy 144Hz panel at a lower entry price, the C85 5G is compelling — especially for budget-conscious buyers who prioritize connectivity and refresh rate over display type.
Either way, Realme’s new C85 duo stands out by packing flagship-sized battery capacity and IP69K durability into affordable hardware — a smart tactic to win over users who want longevity and resilience without breaking the bank.
