AOC has unveiled the AGON PRO AGP277QKD, a 26.5-inch WOLED gaming monitor that aims squarely at competitive players by pairing extreme refresh rates with OLED picture quality. Dual-mode operation lets the display run QHD at 540Hz or HD at an astonishing 720Hz — a bold step that reshapes the high-FPS monitor landscape.
Refresh rates meet OLED: a new competitive tool
Imagine playing at hundreds of frames per second but with OLED contrast and color depth. That’s the sell here. The AGP277QKD uses LG Display’s fourth-generation Primary RGB Tandem WOLED architecture to push motion clarity and responsiveness: AOC quotes a 0.02ms gray-to-gray response time and supports 10-bit color. For color-critical use, the panel covers 99.5% of the DCI-P3 gamut and ships factory-calibrated with an average Delta E below 1.
HDR and brightness that adapt to the action
The monitor holds a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and delivers a typical 300 nits of brightness for everyday work. When HDR content demands it, the AGP277QKD can spike to as much as 1500 nits peak — helping highlight specular details in supported scenes without sacrificing deep OLED blacks.
Comfort, longevity and eye care
AOC has layered practical protections onto the panel. An anti-glare low-reflection (AGLR) coating reduces distracting reflections, while hardware-level low blue light filtering and flicker-free circuitry aim to ease long sessions. Built for gamers: features that matter in play
The AGP277QKD supports Adaptive-Sync and is NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, and it brings a host of gaming-focused aids: tailored FPS and RTS display modes, a dynamic crosshair overlay, dark area enhancement, real-time refresh-rate readout, and built-in color tuning tools. Controls, software and connectivity
AOC redesigned its AGON on-screen display and bundles the G-Menu software for deeper customization. Ports include two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 2.1, a USB-B upstream, and three USB-A 5Gbps downstream ports. The monitor also ships with dual 5W speakers for quick audio needs.
Design touches for desks and tournaments
Physically the AGP277QKD is compact and practical: 1.8mm micro-bezels, a 5.4mm slim panel profile, and a stand that supports height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments. A retractable headphone hook and quick-release mechanism add convenience for tournament setups. For multitasking, the monitor supports picture-by-picture (PBP) and picture-in-picture (PIP) modes.
Price and availability have not been announced.
