LG quietly dropped a new contender in China this week: the UltraGear 27G610A, a 27-inch QHD monitor that pairs a high refresh rate with sensible features and a surprisingly accessible price. Gamers hunting for fluid motion without the premium price tag should pay attention.
The panel here is a 2560 x 1440 IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It pushes up to 200Hz and LG claims a 1ms GtG response time—fast enough to keep motion blur and ghosting to a minimum when the action gets frantic. This screen’s 200Hz refresh and 1ms responsiveness are the headline act for competitive play.
Color and HDR aren’t afterthoughts. The UltraGear covers 99% of the sRGB gamut and carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification with a peak brightness of 400 nits, so highlights pop and visibility in brighter rooms improves. Choice is getting louder—and faster.
So, is LG’s UltraGear the one to pick? If you want a fast QHD experience without blowing the budget, it’s a compelling option.
