Leaks have a way of stealing the thunder. With Google set to take the stage at its Made by Google event tomorrow, the Pixel 11 Pro XL has already shown up on Geekbench while hands-on shots of the smaller Pro surfaced online — black finish and Dune retail packaging included.
The Geekbench record pulls back the curtain on the new Tensor G6. It lists a curious 7-core layout: two efficiency cores at 2.65GHz, four mid cores ticking along at 3.38GHz, and a lone prime core hitting 4.11GHz. That single high-clocked core reads like a sprinter primed for short, heavy workloads.
The test entry pairs that silicon with 16GB of RAM and Android 17. In raw numbers the device posted 2,112 in single-core and 5,196 in multi-core runs. Numbers on a sheet only tell part of the story, but they suggest the G6 could be a meaningful step up in burst performance and multitasking compared with prior Pixel chips.

If the benchmark holds in real-world use, the Tensor G6 may finally bridge the gap between Pixel software smarts and flagship-level horsepower.
Meanwhile, the leaked hands-on images give a clearer hint at aesthetics and user-facing features. The Pixel 11 Pro appears in a deep black finish, and the Dune variant showed up in retail packaging — a telltale sign that hardware is ready for market. One detail caught attention: a large RGB notification light built into the camera bar. Leaks are calling it HiLight, and it looks designed to act as a bold, visible status indicator on the rear rather than the subtle front-facing LEDs of the past.
What else do we know? Expect both Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL in Dune, Light Fog, Midnight Haze and Pine. Performance metrics, the HiLight accent and refined colors point to Google leaning on both hardware and design to make its case this cycle.
We’re a day away from confirmation. Will Google’s presentation match the promise in these leaks, or will the company save surprises for the stage? Tune in tomorrow to find out.
