Huawei Pura X View Arrives with 7,000mAh and Wide 16:9.5

Pre-orders open on September 9, and Huawei has already published pricing. The Pura X View comes in a single memory tier of 12GB RAM with three storage choices: 256GB for 5,999 yuan (about $893), 512GB for 6,999 yuan (about $1,042), and a 1TB model at 8,499 yuan (about $1,266). Early buyers will see bundled gifts and student discounts up to 944 yuan (roughly $141). Two official cases are available too: a vegan leather magnetic cover for 129 yuan (around $19) and a pen-box style case for 469 yuan (about $70) designed to house a stylus.

At 6.39 inches, the Pura X View adopts an uncommon 16:9.5 aspect ratio and a 2232 × 1320 pixel resolution—wider than most modern phones. Bezels are wafer-thin, just 1.05mm around the panel, and the display can spike to a staggering 6,500 nits of peak brightness. Huawei also uses 2160Hz PWM dimming to tame flicker. The result: videos, books, games and documents feel roomier and less boxed-in. That extra real estate trims those annoying black bars when you watch wider content.

The frame is remarkably slim at 6.68mm and the handset weighs 201 grams. It arrives in four finishes—Shadow Red, Linen Gray, Zero White and Phantom Black—so the phone looks as distinct as it reads in spec sheets.

Battery life is the headline here. A 7,000mAh silicon-anode pack powers the Pura X View, which is not just about capacity but about sustained use over days of mixed activity. Photography aims high as well. Under the hood you'll find the Kirin 9030S chipset, paired with a full-area vapor chamber cooling solution and what Huawei calls a ring-type gain antenna to help maintain connection and performance during prolonged use. HarmonyOS 7 runs out of the box, and Huawei introduced a remote sending feature for its Huawei Share ecosystem that lets users push photos, videos and documents to contacts even when they aren't physically nearby.
