Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max — and then, under EU rules, released the dry but telling paperwork: the Energy Labels. Numbers do the talking. They finally tell the story Apple typically keeps close to the chest.
The EU labels list the iPhone 18 Pro with a 4,056 mAh battery and the iPhone 18 Pro Max with a 5,391 mAh cell. Does the Pro Max’s bigger cell mean dramatically longer real-world runtime? Likely, but not guaranteed. Battery life slices through a mix of hardware efficiency, display behavior, and software power management. A larger battery helps, yes, but Apple’s chip performance and iOS optimizations will dictate the day-to-day difference.
