Xiaomi has secured more than 70,000 locked-in orders in one month for its SkyNomad N90 and SkyNomad N70 extended-range electric vehicles in China. Pre-orders began at the end of July and the models were launched in China last month.
Xiaomi delivered over 10,000 SkyNomad vehicles in September, helping drive total car deliveries to more than 40,000 for the month, its highest monthly level this year, up from 30,153 in August.

The company has not provided a model-by-model breakdown for the SkyNomad orders. In September Xiaomi previously reported receiving over 10,000 locked-in orders within four minutes of the launch.

SkyNomad expands Xiaomi's lineup beyond its pure battery-electric models such as the SU7 and YU7, which were its first two cars. The N70 and N90 are extended-range electric vehicles positioned for buyers who remain concerned about BEV range.
The 70,000 figure is an aggregate for the two SkyNomad models; Xiaomi has not released a split by model.
