Samsung has refreshed the One UI Beta Program banner inside the Samsung Members app, a change spotted by SamMobile that suggests the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra may receive a One UI 9.5 beta soon.
The change follows reports that the One UI 9 beta may have just finished for Galaxy S26 owners and comes about a month after the stable One UI 9 launch for the three S26 models. The updated banner does not explicitly name One UI 9.5 or include a launch date, so the indication is provisional.
Beta banner and timing
SamMobile’s observation is the first public hint tied to the Samsung Members app, which owners use to register and access beta updates. Samsung has not issued an official announcement, and the banner refresh alone does not confirm scope, schedule or eligibility.
If past rollout patterns repeat, a One UI 9.5 beta could arrive in the coming months. Samsung launched the One UI 8.5 beta in the beginning of December, 2025, roughly three months after the stable One UI 8 release for the Galaxy S25 phones; using that timeline as a guide, some outlets expect One UI 9.5 beta in December. The first phones to gain access are most likely the Galaxy S26 series, though Samsung could extend participation to other flagships.

Rumored features and device eligibility
Development of One UI 9.5 has been rumored since early August, with reports saying it will be based on Android 17 and will debut on the next Galaxy flagship lineup. Among the rumors are a customizable widgets feature similar to Google’s Gemini-powered Create My Widget option, a native app locking feature and an app mirroring option for Galaxy Book devices. It remains unclear which, if any, of those features will reach older devices such as the Galaxy S26 series.
Community reaction to the recent One UI 9 release has been mixed; Reddit users reported the update “barely brought them any change,” though that reception included the positive note that no performance issues appeared. Until Samsung provides confirmation, the banner refresh stands as an early signal rather than a formal rollout schedule.
The Samsung Members banner change suggests a One UI 9.5 beta is coming for the Galaxy S26 series, but Samsung has not confirmed the name, timing or which devices will be eligible.
