Huawei Pura 90 Plus surfaces with Kirin 9025 details

Huawei confirmed the Pura 90 Plus on 25 October 2026 and opened pre-orders in China ahead of an October 28 launch. Live retail units show the phone running a Kirin 9025 chipset, 12GB of RAM, a 2848x1276 display resolution and HarmonyOS 7 under model number LCI-AL00.

Photographs of display units circulating online reveal the device's curved sides and a triangular camera island in a Sunset Purple finish. The About phone screen visible on one unit lists HarmonyOS 7 and the LCI-AL00 model number alongside the chipset and memory details.

Chipset identification and early performance claims

The Pura 90 Plus is the first phone identified as using the Kirin 9025. One tipster earlier described the 9025 as an overclocked variant of the Kirin 9020. A separate tipster claims the Pura 90 Plus delivers a 19 percent overall performance improvement versus the Pura 80 Pro, which runs the Kirin 9020, and that the Kirin 9025 performs on par with the Kirin 9030S used in the Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max. Those claims are attributed to tipsters and still require independent benchmark verification.

Reported display, camera, storage and color options

Leaks and previous reports list a 6.8-inch curved 1.5K LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate for the Pura 90 Plus. Earlier leaks also indicate a 50MP 1-inch type RYYB main camera with a variable aperture.

Huawei has confirmed a 12GB RAM configuration with three storage options:

• 1TB

Confirmed color options are Dawn Gold, Obsidian Black, Sunset Purple and Snowy White. Those reported specifications are similar to the Pura 80 Pro, which has a 6.8-inch 1276x2848 display and a 1-inch 50MP main camera with variable aperture.
