The iQOO 15 Ultra is shaping up to be the most performance-oriented handset in iQOO’s lineup yet — a device billed as a hybrid between a hardcore gaming phone and a productivity workhorse. Details are still emerging, but company insiders have confirmed a high-end model is in development.
What makes this model different?
Confirmed by Luo Feng, iQOO’s VP of Products, the yet-to-be-named iQOO 15 variant (we're calling it "15 Ultra" for clarity) will sit above the standard iQOO 15 in capability and ambition. The brand describes it as a "gaming productivity tool," an intriguing combo that essentially means top-tier gaming hardware plus features that help when you need to work on the go.
Think big, vivid display real estate for multitasking and media, paired with gaming-grade responsiveness and thermal management. It’s an approach similar to premium gaming laptops that double as productivity machines — only now in a pocket-sized form.

Expected flagship specs
Leaks and official hints suggest the 15 Ultra will borrow several headline features from the standard iQOO 15, but push them further. Early expectations include:
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for top-tier performance
- QHD+ display for sharper visuals and better multitasking
- Dedicated physical gaming triggers for tactile control
- Active cooling system to sustain peak performance during long sessions
- Periscope telephoto camera for improved zoom photography
- Wireless charging and IP68 dust/water resistance
Many of those specs also appear on the base iQOO 15, so the Ultra’s real selling point will likely be its gaming-focused refinements: more aggressive thermal design, better haptics, maybe higher sustained frame rates and extra software for productivity workflows.
When can you buy one?
There’s no firm arrival date yet. The iQOO 15 launched in China very recently and is expected to reach global markets soon, but the Ultra-tier model appears to be further down the roadmap. iQOO hasn’t given a timetable, and details suggest we shouldn’t expect an immediate release.
Still curious? We’ll track official announcements and hands-on previews. If you’re a mobile gamer who also needs a phone that can handle spreadsheets, remote desktop apps, or heavy multitasking, the iQOO 15 Ultra is one to watch.
