Think of the humble fitness band evolving into something that looks and feels like jewelry. That appears to be Xiaomi's playbook for the Band 11, if recent leaks are any indication.
Entries in Xiaomi's Health Research app and radio certifications filed with China's MIIT point to four separate Band 11 variants: a standard model, an NFC-equipped edition, a ceramic version, and a new full-metal design. The tip-off comes from two Bluetooth identifiers, M2616B1 and M2617B1, which passed radio approval in June and are widely believed to correspond to the standard and NFC models.
Battery capacity is unlikely to change much. Documents list a 233 mAh cell for the new units — essentially the same as the previous generation — so any notable gains in endurance will depend on software tuning and chip-level efficiency rather than a bigger battery. In plain terms: smarter code and a leaner chip, not more battery, will likely drive better runtime.

For context, the Band 10 launched last year with a 1.72-inch OLED display, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness reaching 1,500 nits. Xiaomi even produced a limited ceramic edition for collectors, sold at a starting price of 269 CNY (roughly $40). Folding ceramic and full-metal builds into the main Band 11 lineup would put more premium options directly within reach of mainstream buyers.
Why does material matter? Because a ceramic shell changes more than looks. It alters heft, thermal feel, and perceived value. Full-metal further pushes the wearable from a fitness tracker toward a lifestyle accessory. Expect subtle shifts in strap design and finish to match those premium bodies.
Specific launch dates and pricing remain unannounced. Xiaomi has a track record of teasing variants and then staggering releases, so we might see a phased rollout: core models first, premium finishes later. Either way, the Band 11 strategy seems to be expanding choice rather than chasing a single spec war.
Curious which model will resonate most — the practical NFC version or the eye-catching ceramic and metal editions? Keep an eye on certification updates and Xiaomi’s official channels; the next small update could tell a much bigger story about how wearables are dressing up for the mainstream.
