2027 Honda Prelude Hybrid Render Gets Bold Body Kit

Digital designer a.c.g_design posted an unofficial Instagram render that applies an extreme aftermarket body kit to the 2027 Honda Prelude Hybrid, emphasizing large aero elements and a black-and-blue color scheme.

At the front the render shows a hood with four intakes and a reworked bumper with additional aero elements.

The profile gains vented front fender flares, concave chrome wheels with blue-painted brake calipers, and side-sill canards that continue the aero theme.

The rear changes include a black-and-blue wing and a black roof plus an overhauled bumper with a massive diffuser fitted with vertical LED elements and blue horizontal trim.

The project is hypothetical and unsigned by Honda; it also omits a Type R designation despite aggressive styling cues.

Honda revived the Prelude name for 2027 as a compact sports hybrid that slots where the Civic Coupe once sat, pairing elements of Civic Hybrid and Type R engineering.

American Honda recorded initial Prelude deliveries in its July 2026 sales update, released in August, but production is still ramping and the model has not reached all US regions.

The US starting price is $42,400 or $42,900 for the Two-Tone. Both trims use the same 200-horsepower hybrid powertrain, include the Honda S+ Shift system, and offer equipment such as 19-inch black wheels and a Bose Premium Sound System.
