Lancia will reveal the 2027 Gamma at the 2026 Paris Motor Show in both mild-hybrid and battery-electric forms, including an HF Integrale dual-motor electric variant rated at 375 cavalli vapore (370 mechanical horsepower). The Gamma returns as a fastback-style C-segment crossover built on Stellantis' STLA Medium architecture.
Paris Motor Show line-up and powertrains
Lancia has confirmed three configurations for the Paris appearance. The entry model is the LX Hybrid, which uses a 145-cv (143 mechanical horsepower) setup that incorporates Stellantis' 48-volt mild-hybrid system. An electric drive unit is integrated into the transmission housing to supplement low-end torque, assist turbocharger spool-up and allow brief engine-off coasting in urban traffic. Lancia also plans a full battery-electric LX with a single motor; the manufacturer has not released the single-motor output or battery capacity ahead of the Paris media conference.

- LX Hybrid: 145-cv (143 mechanical horsepower), 48-volt mild-hybrid with an electric drive unit in the gearbox housing.
- LX (full electric): single-motor battery-electric variant; output and battery capacity not disclosed by Lancia.
- HF Integrale: dual-motor battery-electric layout producing 375 cavalli vapore (370 mechanical horsepower); no mechanical driveshaft between axles, torque distribution handled by software.
Packaging, roofline and aerodynamics
The new Gamma departs from its 1970s namesake’s fastback sedan proportions and is configured as a C-segment crossover to accommodate an underfloor lithium-iron battery pack. Lancia says the battery position raises the vehicle's hip point, which requires a higher roofline to maintain acceptable headroom. The fastback roofline is retained as a nod to the earlier model and to help the rear slope reattach airflow and reduce aerodynamic drag for maximum electric range.

Platform, production and shared architecture
The Gamma is built on the STLA Medium platform shared with the Jeep Compass, Opel Grandland, Citroën C5 Aircross and Peugeot 3008. Assembly will take place at Stellantis' Melfi plant in southern Italy. The HF Integrale's electric layout omits a mechanical driveshaft between the front and rear axles; Lancia will rely on software-based torque vectoring to distribute torque between the axles and motors.

Previewed in May 2026, the Gamma marks Lancia's broader European relaunch beyond its previous supermini-only lineup; the marque confirmed the Paris Motor Show presentation schedule and technical details ahead of the public debut.
