Spy photos show a subtly revised Multivan ahead of 2027 launch
Volkswagen's T7 Multivan has been caught again, this time wearing heavy camouflage that conceals a notably updated cabin and a subtly reworked exterior. The MPV — positioned between the C-segment Caddy and the full-size Transporter — appears ready for a mid-cycle refresh that brings modern lighting, revised bumpers and an upgraded infotainment experience.
Exterior tweaks: new lighting and a reshaped front end
Our latest spy shots reveal enlarged headlight units with new internal graphics for both the low/high beams and the turn signals, plus a continuous light strip spanning the nose and an illuminated Volkswagen badge. The bumper has been resculpted too: photographers spotted a cleaner central section where the large central air intake found on current models may be reduced or removed, likely because the lower intakes are sufficient to cool the MQB-based van's four-cylinder engines.
Rear changes are less obvious in these prototypes. Aside from a silver trim piece that looks temporary, the tail is still heavily camouflaged — but given the altered front light clusters, expect updated taillights on the production facelift.

The refreshed Multivan is expected to debut late in 2026 and reach dealers by early 2027. Pricing starts from about €56,108.50 in Germany for the outgoing model; the facelift may shift equipment and pricing slightly depending on trim and available tech upgrades.
