2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Prices and Trim Details

Chevrolet has published pricing for the 2027 Silverado 1500, confirming a seven-trim lineup that starts at $38,600 before destination for the Work Truck. Chevrolet adds $2,795 destination to all prices; including that freight charge, the base WT begins at $41,395. The company says every trim gains more standard equipment compared with the 2026 model year.

Pricing and trim lineup

Chevrolet confirmed seven trims for the 2027 Silverado 1500. The manufacturer has dropped the LT name and replaced it with the Silverado grade. Prices below include the $2,795 destination charge that Chevrolet applies to every model.

Chevrolet notes that every trim carries a higher sticker than its 2026 counterpart. Specific published increases include a $1,700 rise for the WT and a $1,200 increase for Custom. The Custom Trail Boss and Trail Boss are each $1,500 more than their 2026 equivalents. High Country shows the largest published increase of $8,700, and ZR2 is up $5,400 compared with 2026 pricing.

Standard technology and safety

All 2027 Silverado 1500 trims are equipped with a 16.3-inch center touchscreen and a 12.2-inch digital gauge cluster. The infotainment system uses Google built-in, integrating Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Google Play Store as native features. Chevrolet says third-party apps such as Spotify and Waze will be accessible at launch.

Chevrolet expanded standard active safety items across the range. Documented standard features include reverse automatic braking, intersection automatic braking, front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, and side bicyclist alert. Adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist are standard as well. Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving is optional on the Silverado grade and is included on higher trims such as High Country and ZR2.

Powertrains, transmissions and off-road hardware

Chevrolet offers four engine choices for the 2027 Silverado 1500. The company states that all four engines are paired with 10-speed automatic transmissions. Published torque and conversion figures are:

• 3.0-liter Duramax turbo diesel: 495 lb-ft (671 Nm)
• 6.6-liter small block L78: 501 lb-ft (679 Nm)
• 5.7-liter small block L76: 428 lb-ft (580 Nm)
• Enhanced TurboMax inline-four, including a 350-horsepower variant

Chevrolet highlights that the Duramax's 495 lb-ft of torque closely approaches the 6.6-liter L78's torque rating. The ZR2 grade shows two distinct powertrain presentations on Chevrolet's landing page: standard 3.0-liter Duramax turbo diesel or an available 6.6-liter small block V8.

Off-road-focused hardware is concentrated on the Trail Boss and ZR2 derivatives. The Custom Trail Boss starts at $57,195 and adds a 2-inch lift, 34-inch mud-terrain tires, low-range gearing, a locking rear differential, and additional skid plates. Trail Boss, from $63,995, builds on that package and adds items such as the Multi-Flex center console, an off-road hood with an enhanced power dome, a flat-bottom steering wheel, Bose audio, and a hitch-view camera. ZR2, priced at $79,995, includes front and rear electronic locking differentials, Multimatic DSSV dampers, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, Super Cruise, and forged carbon fiber trim on the console and doors. Chevrolet also lists an AEV-spiced ZR2 Bison as a higher-spec off-road option.

Chevrolet acknowledges that the increased standard content and revised powertrain lineup will be weighed by buyers against competitors such as the Ford F-150 and Ram 1500. The company must still address option pricing details and the longer-term reliability record of the sixth-generation small-block engines.
